ZoneOrchestrator Issues Information
|
Information: With the Issues feature Members Plus can report problems with relevance to lobbies and games. These problems are then verified by Go2@Mplus and escalated to a status whereby the issue can be viewed by all Members Plus logged into ZoneOrchestrator. New issues can be submitted by clicking Tools -> New Issues, right clicking the appropriate lobby or game in the Room List Panel and clicking New Issue, or by right clicking inside of the Issues panel and selecting New Issue. After clicking New Issue the New Issue submission dialogue box should show. There are many settings with submitted issues. Issues can be submitted with a type of Other, Room Down, Tools Down, or Lag, with an Estimated Time of Resolution, with or without a specific lobby or game specified (Affected), and with a descriptive Title and additional notes (Text). After a new issue is submitted by a Member Plus it begins at Pending status. Go2@Mplus then investigates the problem, and if it is indeed found to be a problem, it is set to status Escalated. When a problem is made Escalated or Closed, all Members Plus using ZoneOrchestrator can see it. Only the Member Plus that submitted a problem, and Go2@Mplus can see problems that are Pending, however. When a new pending problem is received a notification will be displayed if ZoneOrchestrator is set to Display notifications at all times in Tools -> Options on the Enhancements tab. It is strongly suggested that this option be set. Notifications are very configurable, and if you feel too many are being displayed, use options on the Lobbies tab to configure notifications to your desire. Issue status is distinguishable by the icon displayed to the left of the issue in the Issues panel. ZoneOrchestrator uses UDP port 55468 to notify clients of message updates. Members Plus should forward UDP port 55468 to their computer to receive issue notifications at the utmost promptness. If UDP port 55468 can not be forwarded, issues will be received at a less than real time rate, at a pre-determined time of every one minute. Summary (READ THIS!): Tips: Sort the Issues by the time they were Reported. Click on the column in the Issues box labeled "Reported" so that the newest ones are on top. Escalated issues have a yellow caution symbol as an icon. Closed issues have a red X. Pending problems have a question mark. Read the Escalated issues before you submit a new Issue. Issues will update faster if you are behind a firewall or router if you forward UDP port 55468 to your computer. Do not: Do not submit issues to report insignificant or irrelevent problems. Do not chat with other users by submitting Issues. Abuse of the issues tool is a serious offense. |
